Roberta Bernstein ז”ל

Roberta Bernstein (zikhrona livrakha) , a native of New York, worked for many years as a highly respected social worker for the Jerusalem Municipality before becoming Director of ATZUM’s Survivors of Terror Project in 2002. During Sukkot, 2007, Roberta was tragically killed in an automobile accident together with her husband, Chuck, and daughter, Batsheva. She is survived by her son Moshe and daughter Ofra.

ATZUM’s Survivors of Terror Project which Roberta developed and sustained to embrace 450 families to whom she brought tireless, unlimited caring and unsparing assistance, was named the Roberta Project for Survivors of Terror in her memory and in honor of her dedication to those families.
